I didn't have it in me

To check the work email because I'm so over it.

Instead I've been sitting around thinking about the moon landing. That is one of my earliest memories (I would have been 2). I swear I remember us all being in my grandmother's home watching it on TV but maybe I just heard the story so many times.

I've always been attracted to the moon. I find her beautiful and fascinating. That she might actually be a twin planet rather than a true moon, which some modern thinking has put forth is something that intrigues me. I wanted to be an astronaut (doctor, okay I wanted to be Bones, hush) as a child. It was very sad to realize I could never be one (not good in math, can't go around).

I did want to look more into moon magic. I really need to do the reading for fiction source material. I have the books.

I'm hoping I don't buy too many books in the UK. I DO need to get some on my research but I can't go nuts on the ghosts books. evil_little_dog was told to not let me buy any glass/ceramic shit while I'm there. I'm likely to do that even though I say I won't.

Is anyone else watching Frankie Drake? L suggested it to me. I'm liking it okay but it's not Miss Fisher's Mysteries. I actually don't like Frankie so much but the three lady friends of hers I love. There are four strong women but I'm finding the narrative hit or miss. The last one I watched (I think the fourth or fifth of season one) was just plain stupid (really, the gangsters couldn't see a model T following them in a time period where there were very few cars and the road is flat and treeless???)
