The Mondayest of Mondays

I woke up out of a weird dream where Mom and I were candling blue heron eggs and she was very into it. (really brain?) I was awaken by people talking UNDER my bed. It was the plumbers but damn, that was unnerving. It took me a few tries to find them and ask WTF they were doing. Putting in pipes for the sump pump so Lake Suck can be removed from under my place and frogs can stop living there.

I call Nourse to double check my appt to get my oil change. They can't find my appt. I lose my temper. then they find it after trying to get me to reschedule.

I call Ottawa and make my appt but because you can a) do all 4 days b) do 2 days of seminar and c) do 2 days of workshop, they no longer have 5 days together at the con price and because it had to be booked at 2 different prices they couldn't guarantee it and needed a manager. ANd later I figured out I booked it one day off (because they had it wrong on the con site. I keep forgetting that the first day is just for people working it and a stupid party.) I'll fix it but more likely I WILL take that hotel Dad found that's a third of a mile away and just walk it and save about 150$ a night.

I call Cincinnati and learn I'm paying the idiot tax. It's my own fault. I waited until the nth hour to buy my hotel/tickets to the steampunk symposium which is costing me an extra 70$ a night. I hate that I do this to myself every time but you wait until the last minute then the con rates are gone and you pay the idiot tax.

I get up to Chillicothe after work and it goes okay from there but man was it raining. I need 4 new tires (that I could see for myself but I'm not getting it here). I went to dinner and it was good. I got crap I don't need at TJ Maxx. Got food I didn't need at Kroger's. Came home and found two of my auction bidders had donated so I made contact. This could be fun.
