I did attend the virtual tour of Central Park and I really enjoyed the history of it. Granted some of it is ugly. The town of Senaca Village ( all Black and Irish and ironically named for the other group of abused people it was stolen from) was taken and turned in to the park (and they were labeled tramps and squatters which is STILL in guide books today). I like how it was built by dreamers. I learned that the Angel of the Waters in the Betheseda garden was designed by Emma Stebbins who was basically an out lesbian in the 1800's which pretty amazing.

There'll be another lecture next Saturday on Edgar Allan Poe and Greenwich Village. It'll be free too. It was however 2 hours instead of one (not complaining, I loved it) but I didn't get much done.

In a way it was good. It kept me off social media. God I wish Twitter had a mute for 30 days button like FB does.
