Tired and Sad

It seems to be my go-to. Athens had very nice murals honoring George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and some asshole painted swastikas on them. Sigh. I hope they find whoever it was.

My job is becoming less and less certain as is my brother's and his wife's (and their in health care) so this is going to be a less than festive fourth. I wish i wasn't going but my mother would be so unhappy if I don't. My parents are at an age that if I miss an opportunity to spend time with them I'll regret it.

I've been weepy all week though. I'm almost done with my damn novella add in. I HAVE to finish it tonight because I can't do it tomorrow and it's due the 4th and that was the extension.
