The day was weird

I found two likely homes to buy in a town I'm less than thrilled about but is basically decent. Both are ranches, one with a purple metal roof (one of my bucket lists if I have to live in a ranch!) and the other was HUGE over 3,000sq and both under 170K. Well the purple roof one is still in the running but it's on a busy road. I'd have to put in some kind of living sound/dust barrier because that's a main artery.

The long one, with two furnaces it's so long, was weird. We all were like WHY is it so long and skinny? Well I found out. It's not far from the worst area of Gallipolis, up an uber narrow road (one m istake and you roll over a cliff) and that cliff is why the house was so inexpensive for that much house. The house literally butted the cliff and it was at least 100 feet down from there. No thank you. I know my luck, the foundation would crack and I'd be fucked.

From there I went to Point Pleasant trying to get jazzed for the novella (mixed success), Hey evil_little_dog that park we were stranded in at the mothman festival? That little pond has SWANS! I haven't seen a real live swan in forever.

I saw something BIG going down police wise (knowing PP it was drugs) and I saw that the State Theater where all the cryptozoology talks happen was sold. I hope someone cleans it up and uses it more (versus destroys it though I think that's unlikely)
