Writerly Ways
Oct. 17th, 2021 09:47 pmWith Midterms looming I have no time for another writerly ways but i did the big thing. I finally asked for my rights back from Dreamspinner. I have no good reason to have not done so before. Mental health was at the root of it. I was expecting it to be hard, to be confrontation and I wasn't up for that. They just sent me paperwork I need to find time to sign. I haven't had time to read it yet. I have very mixed emotions about all this. They are nothing but wrong. I have no idea how much money I didn't get that I earned but they also never promoted me at all. But they published my first novel and there is an emotional attachment there. SIgh.
