This has been an uneasy day
Oct. 19th, 2021 10:14 pmBy noon I was ready for the day to end. I woke up 2 hours before the alarm, while putting in my contact I saw a big hang nail, put the contact back so I could cut that without having to find my reading glasses but I can't see without the contacts didn't realize it hadn't gone back in the case. It was still on the tip of my finger and I cut right through it.
I was so concentrating on getting Malcolm in the box and to the vet for drop off I forgot my phone and had to double back and was late dropping the cat at the vet.
Since I had two hours to kill before class I decided to check on the hold harmless thing with my insurance and decided to double check my out of network deductible. Was on with Anthem for 45 minutes just to have this person constantly NOT understand that all I wanted to know was my out of network deductible. I mean she kept asking when I planned to have service. I HAD IT. THen she wanted to know who, told her four times. She insisted there were no claims for me in Feb. Okay I told her, I've been talking to you guys since March about this. I KNOW they're in the system. I know the out of net work ones are too as I spoke to someone two weeks ago. Either she's brand new (and whoever she was talking to didn't help) or she's an idiot. I ended the call. If she couldn't tell me what my plan said about deductibles she was far too incompetent to talk about legal matters. I called HR and they confirmed my deductible.
I wanted to finish hanging up my Halloween decorations so I hung up new glass bottle halloween lights but one was made wrong, the cork didn't hold it immediately fell, broke and glitter bombed my office in purple sequin glitter
But the good news is Malcolm is not feverish. He's healthy. I got him rabies and another vaccine (he can't have the leukemia one). He's been in the house for five hours. He is way too talky and my previous cats were NOT ones to go up on things. He wants up on shit. He's going to break everything i own. I think he will want out. He has not used the litter box yet so I am nervous. He is my lap as I type this. He's wiping his wet chin on me. THink good thoughts everyone that he doesn't kill me, my stuff or himself.
