Failed the test
Nov. 3rd, 2021 09:35 pmI barely made it TO the test. It was unseasonably cold this morning, 24 degrees. I felt bad because a) Rocket still won't come in and stay in b) he wasn't there when I went looking for him but showed up at his usual time but since I had to leave before I'm normally even awake, he missed out.
I spoke to the lady running the first part of the test (like a taser they press against the nerves) and asked her if she minded telling me how she got into this job because I teach I like to tell them clinically where/when they'll use what I'm teaching them and how they HAVE to know the anatomy. Her path was odd (Phlebotomoist - receptionist - on the job training) She asked me WHAT do they think they're going to do if they don't know the anatomy. Exactly.
Then the doctor came in to push needles into my nerves and electrify them. I'm pretty sure my injured leg failed. I could hear the machine but I couldn't feel anything (and this is pretty painful stuff. Doesn't really bug me much though). No muscle twitch, nothing. I go for the MRI tomorrow and will get the results on everything the week of Thanksgiving.
I finally got through all of Archer and learned that Jessica Walters died. I was hospitalized when that happened and didn't know it. Honestly I almost want them to let Archer go now (though the ending was so open you want more).
Speaking of celebrity passing (that I totally missed) Ed Asner died in the spring but his son is doing something in his father's name for his dad's charity, it's a virtual table reading with Mandy Patinkin, Mark Hamill and Lou Diamond Phillips among others. I'll link you up since some of you have asked me too when I find cool things. The cheap ticket is only 25$ and I want to do it BUT the table reading is of it's a wonderful life and I HATE that movie. If you want to give it a looksee go here.
