Survived the meeting
Jan. 14th, 2022 10:11 pmIt was both better and worse than I thought it would be. I can't talk about the worse (or more accurately I shouldn't) I will say that for once in a long time I have a small amount of faith in our new provost and the president is proving to be good at his job (unlike literally all the others we had) For once we feel vaguely hopeful as a faculty.
All my weekend plans are shot. We're supposed to get snowmaggedon on Sunday so I'm skipping the gym again (sigh) to go get more groceries and then cook them in case I lose power. For storms like this I like to prepare for a day or two of no electricity, no heat (so if you don't hear from me after sunday...)
I will cancel my car appointment for Monday morning but I am NOT canceling my hand surgeon appointment until we actually DO get that foot of snow. It's not until the afternoon and if it's milder than expected I should be able to get up to Chillicothe. We'll see.
I am SO tired. I went to bed early like a good girl (i.e. 1AM) took a power nap apparently and woke up at 4 AM and have been up ever since. fun time. Sleep is for the weak
