Oddly emotional day
Jan. 26th, 2022 10:06 pmI saw a thank you from Betty White which was going to be released for her 100th birthday party.
I saw the voice actor for Charlie Brown committed suicide today. Honestly I know nothing about this man (or that he was even alive. It never occurred to me the VA were young when they recorded those) but somehow that is just sad.
I'm also pretty sad because of my knee. It just feels like I lost 2 months worth of recovery and it hurts bad today.
Rocket hasn't been seen in almost 24 hours. I do think he might be gone for good (it was like 10 degrees yesterday and going to be colder tonight) He was shaking when I last saw him and I do think he might have gotten infected from his last fight. He might come back, who knows. I always knew I wouldn't have him long.
In good news, Mom's carpal tunnel surgery went fine. My meeting with the orthopedic surgeon went well. I actually slept 4 straight hours last night so yay for that.
I tried to get chocolate walk tickets. I went to the place that usually has them (but has moved so it took a while to find them) but they're like oh we're not doing it this year. Apple City computer repair will but not til maybe tomorrow (this thing is next thursday) I'm like um okay that is SO random and do you know YOU are listed on the facebook page right as the place to get tickets? So one week only to get tickets? That's dumb.
And the really weird thing is L got a text telling her about the chocolate walk which is how I knew about it. Last night I got the same text. I'm like how? HER realty wants us to know how much they liked meeting us last time and hope to see us again. Well here's the thing I gave no one my cell number but I assume they got it from my ticket in 2020 because we put it into a drawing and who the hell is HER realty? I know Appalachia Realty, Kelly Wiley and ERA but never heard of HER.
