Writerly Ways
Mar. 13th, 2022 10:15 pmSome days I don't know what I'm doing. I've been unsuccessful in finishing my short stories. I've been lured in by other anthologies. I'm overreaching and underachieving. It happens.
I was walking to ELD and I'm reminded how much I miss being part of a writing community where we can sit and talk things out. That helps me so much. I was talking about not really having a proper villain in my nano novel. She had a great suggestion until I realized....yeah I actually HAD set it up better than I thought and that suggestion wouldn't fit without me scrapping half of what I have. Perfect.
The sequel the characters whisper to me. Sequel? How about you finish what you've started.
