I have big ideas

So my big ideas. I have about two thirds of the Welsh history of medicine presentation typed in. It's so long but there is So. Much. cool stuff. How do I leave it out? I need to be sure I can do this in an hour. I think it will be recorded. If so and I can share it I'll let you know.

I also have an idea for the Steampunk Symposium 2023. The theme is John Carter of Mars and I want to do a panel on the early women of SF. Is it too early to propose it? I mean it's not even been a week. Then again they did ask one of my local steampunk friends to do a talk next year. My airship is falling over themselves to go next year because it's been so long and I guess June is good for them.

Unfortunately it's not great for me. It blends into my professional conference time and close to my birthday so it will be dicey to get there but I do want to do it. I might just go ahead and propose it. I mean the worst they can do is say it's too early.

I got my first booster today. I got a little floaty head and tired but much like the covid vaccine there hasn't been much of side effects so far. Hope that continues because I'm supposed to be subbing for L tomorrow in lab. I didn't want to do it this with that over me but I wasn't due til Jan and I've had so many health issues I couldn't get it done.

However we're having Rathacon a week from Saturday a local pop culture con and my airship always has a table. I help out. And Athens still has a fairly high covid rate so I wanted it before then.
