Today made me frustrated. One of my students missed an exam last week because her kids had that stomach flu going round. Today she was meant to make it up. She sits thru one class and comes talk to me and it's obvious she's not well. Can she take the test later. Yes. fast forward to 4 pm. She emails me back to tell me she thought she had the flu but no it's covid (so you sat in an unmasked class with this). ARGH. Honestly flu is contagious AF too. WHY? Better hope my booster worked.
