Sometimes they make you cry

One of the biology/chemistry students made gifts for us in ceramics class and left it at my door with a note telling me how much I've meant to her and how much she enjoyed my personality. It was so very sweet. I almost cried. Here's what she made me.




I went in gave the early exam. Everyone showed up who was supposed to (unlike for some of my coworkers). I'm ready for all the tomorrow exams (all three of them)

What I Just Finished Reading:
You'll Be the Death of Me by Karen M. McManus I was not impressed by this YA

Diamonds & Dirt by Stephanie LaVigne, short novel with a really dumb end.




What I am Currently Reading:

The Shotgun Arcana by R.S. Belcher that I picked up at the steampunk symposium and I am loving this historical urban fantasy/weird west

Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki this is so weird and so slow going. I know it's up for an award (or was, maybe it won by now) but I just can't find a character in it I like.





What I Plan to Read Next:

Queen of Thieves: The True Story of "Marm" Mandelbaum and Her Gangs of New York
by J. North Conway (It has such a bad rating, but I own this thing so I'm giving it a try)
