Time is slipping away

I have done nothing in this house and it's been nearly a week. It's like where is time going? I honestly do not know.

I did get some weeding done enough to know my garden is nearly a loss and I can not put the few veggies I have where I wanted to it go (which I was pretty sure was poison ivy and I treated it as if it were) My back is saying my days of in ground gardening are done. I need to go to raised beds.

Rocket is being obnoxious af today, just screaming non stop. He would run in and barely eat and instantly want out. He would just run around the courtyard yowling and then was pestering the other apartment across from me. I'm thinking they have a female in heat. I need to call to get Rocket neutered.

I got my second haunted house story out today and that made me happy (and that took me way longer to edit that I thought). Crosses fingers (the payment isn't great but this is a charity anthology so that's okay) Also I see another haunted house open call so I hope if I get a rejection I hope it comes fast!


My aunt (mom's bff) had to go to the hospital today for some vascular studies and had a heart attack while there and from her symptoms she related to Mom a stroke too. (she can't lift her arm). Well if you're going to do it, that's the place to do it. Hopefully she'll be okay


I got my intoabar prompt. Lucifer is going into a bar and meeting Ainsley Whitly. What could go wrong there?


What I Just Finished Reading:
The Shotgun Arcana by R.S. Belcher now I'm super sad he ran out of book 3 at the convention. I'll have to put it in on my list.

Something is Killing the Children - haven't enjoyed a horror graphic novel this much in...well ever. Think of it as Buffy but if the Watchers were even douchier and no one had any funny quips.



What I am Currently Reading:



Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki this is so weird and so slow going. I'm setting it on the back burner to read the things from the library, Key Lime Killing, Murder in Old Bombay, The House of El and Sleeping Beauties by Stephen & Owen king

Queen of Thieves: The True Story of "Marm" Mandelbaum and Her Gangs of New York
by J. North Conway (It has such a bad rating, but I own this thing so I'm giving it a try)
