My Own Worse Enemy

I wrote down the submission deadline to the trailer park anthology wrong. it wasn't the 15th, it was the first. It was another one that was the 1st. I now have an excel spread sheet for this nonsense. I'm so upset with myself because this thing had to be over 10K and 90% of anthologies won't take something that long. SIGH. I shouldn't have let myself get so distracted by fanfic. Fool.

I did send out one that was due in a few days. That was the one that was the 15th. At least I got the baby farm story back out in the wild.


That wasn't the only heartbreak of the day. The new Sim card doesn't work. Two more phone calls today. Now they want me to wait 24 hours. One of them wanted me to get the sim card activated by putting it in someone else's phone. Um WTF? Raise your hand if you think I'll be buying a new phone once I get back from vacation (I'm taking mom's phone)

went to the greenhouse today. they had food trucks but this one was straight out of the 90s with walking tacos and hot dogs and sadness. I paid too much for a sangria slushie I did however get some herbs, chocolate mint, spicy orange thyme, italian oregano. I had my eye on a shirt but it was too small (a uterus covered in flowers/vines saying mind your own)
