My adventure is coming to an end

Mae hi'n dwym. An understatement that came up in Duolingo's lesson tonight. (it's warm)

Still 95 freaking degrees today. This actually will be all I say about today's part of the adventure as all I did was hang out at a friend's house. It's been over a decade which is really impossible to believe. It was nice to just chill and relax.

We tried a new Greek/Indian place. I had the lamb gyro but instead of the spiced processed lamb/beef meat on a spit, this was wafer thin lamb shaved. It wasn't spiced enough but it was pretty good and the greek fries with feta were to die for. The Treasury was pretty tasty. I picked up a sirloin ban mi at the viet citroen for dinner. Who knew this was basically a foot long. More meat in one day than I usually eat in a month.

Anyhow we had a good time hanging out, got to meet the dog and given how sore my knee was today it was happy I wasn't slogging around sweating my ass off for once. Tomorrow I'm heading home. I can't do it in one shot as it's 10 hours. I COULD do it but I don't want to. I wouldn't think twice 20 years ago but I'm old and arthritic so I'm going to Wilkes Barre PA, maybe hit the casino there and breaking this trip into two.
