Celebrating the minor victories
Aug. 24th, 2022 09:34 pmLike the fact they actually fixed the damn a/c in my building. Woo Hoo. I'm only exhausted instead of stupid exhausted
And when me and the biochem prof pointed out the shitty old laptop in our room takes 20 minutes to turn on even if it IS technically on and you're just logging in (okay it takes 12 minutes in that case) and we can't record lectures on it, they came and fixed part of it AND are going to replace it. Victory laps yinz!
On the downside my knee looks like it belongs on Frankenstein. On the outside of my knee is a scar that goes an inch or two above and below the knee. All the muscle there is gone due to denervation and it's tight so it can't swell there and the fluid builds up at the scar. So it's standing up like a zipper and nothing of this knee looks human. I have taken NSAIDS, rubbed NSAID cream into it. I've hooked the TENS/Inferential unit to it (that helped a lot, go electricity)
And I sat my ass down a couple times today. Like 3 minutes. That works right?
Tomorrow is nothing but doctors' appointments.
no book meme this wednesday because nearly forgot it IS Wed and I've changed nothing since last week.
