Today was hard. Let's just leave it at I saw political news just as I sat down to the bone practicum and literally it was all I could do to not cry through the whole day. It was a day I thought about calling a help call line but two students ran over their exam by an HOUR and by then I was more in control of my spiraling mind.

I came home and found out my ancient desk top has heard me talking about her worrying she might die as she is 11 years old. Twice she couldn't log in because the log in was wrong (and I panicked thinking the work lap top somehow changed it to my work log in because my other lap top DID somehow override my desktop's wallpaper and this lap top mirrored my work desk top so I have no idea how this is happening but it IS). FInally after powering down and restarting it again I got it to turn on BUT it acted like it was fresh from the factory (in spite of having all the games on it and I should have checked my files. I'll do that before I go to bed). Google and Firefox both acted like they were brand new to the computer. Every log in was gone. Word keeps bring up a sign in box. I have no idea what is going on but I think it's beginning to die. Sigh

Even dinner fucked up and my three cheese three egg omelette became cheesy scrambled eggs of sadness (at least they tasted good).

I sat down to the intergenerational story telling zoom fauxklore had in her journal (as she was one of the story tellers). That was two hours of stories that really helped settle me down. I enjoyed it greatly (great job on your story btw). I'm very glad I attended.

And just as it was ending the work laptop goes your battery is low and dies instantly. Hey thanks for the warning. eye roll
