My mother wants to kill me slowly
Dec. 21st, 2023 08:45 pmThat can be the only explanation for making me drive her to five different stores four days before Christmas. Okay we did need the booze and I got a fancy bubbly that has a light up bottle because why not? Happy New Year's. We had a very festive waiter at Eat n' Park. We've had this young man before. He's good at his job and got a nice tip.
Costco would leave you to believe this is the Hunger Games and you need to battle to the death for some stupid thing. And yet I could find nothing I wanted.figures.
I did get up at 3:40AM to watch the sunrise coming through the light box in Newgrange in Ireland. I'm sure I'll never win the lottery to get a spot inside so this was the next best thing and it was very nice (they didn't, however, make it so you could share the livestream after the fact) and what happened was what would happen should I actually DO win that lottery. It was overcast and rainy and no sun until the last 5 minutes. Sigh. But I saw it and that was cool.
