I have a large and growing collection of autographs (and art). This is something new I got on ebay for dead cheap (looks authentic and even if it isn't, it cost so little I wouldn't be upset. New seller, guess no one else wanted to take a risk). Monica Keena's signature is on the inside but the pictures are so dark they wouldn't scan. So you get to look at the front and back of the soundtrack (there is a crack in the jewel case). I'm wondering why it is she's wearing the corest yet it's VK who has the nipped in waist. dual autograph soundtrack inset.

Considering we both tend to date that type, not at all. -SJS

Yes, I have noticed that. He has a very interesting signature. David Boreanaz's looks like a kindergarten scribble.

Perhaps because David Boreanaz probably has the brain of a kindergarten kid ?

After some of his interviews I'm not inclined to disagree. Nice to look at though.

oooh, you have the Crime and Punishment in Suburbia soundtrack! Not that the signuture's not great too. :) Im trying to decide if I should take my Another Day in Paradise DVD to Hypernion and get him to sign it, but It seems kinda dorky, and I try not be a great big geek in public where incriminating evidence can be gathered.

Yeah i know the feeling. I usually end up getting the autographs from reputable dealers so I don't have to stand in line. I have no patience for that.

Actually got this from ebay and they didn't include the cd...

ah, no CD? Although I think my "Hi there! Im a great big dork!" persona is kinda out there now..... *hides photo of herself and Vincent*..... So Im not sure who Im trying to kid, I should just take the damn thing and have signed.

If I had a chance to go I would and I'm getting WAY too old for this. Tried to get Michael Rosenbaum's last year in Orlando but they had so many people they gave out tickets which "sold" out hours before the first day of the three day con.

I've met Amber and Nicholas already.

Im lucky enough to have at least seen in the flesh most of the cast at EOD last year, never met Masters and Boreanaz though, I wouldnt mind Masters, but I dunno about Boreanaz, he seems a nice enough guy, if totally wacky, but I think the wackiness would just ruin my image of Angel forever.

David seems very wacky. I would like to meet James. We dont' get many of them here in Orlando. We're getting more Smallville than anyone from the Josseverse.

I've met almost all the original cast of Star Trek including Mr. Roddenberry.

For some reason we get really good conventions, I suppose its cause they get an expenses paid trip over here and once they've amused us for 3 days can do what they like.

So you've met the Shatmeister?

Oh yes, I've met Bill. He makes a career out of just being himself. He's rather annoying but what the heck.

I think you get such good cons is that they all come at once. Here you get ONE main star two if you're lucky. It's easier to travel here or something. I would kill to go to a UK con.

annoying?! The man's a living legend! Course he's annoying. :)

Here we tend to have several during the summer, but, yea, its in the summer, so they're not filming, It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next few years, if we start getting cons with everyone there as they need the income, although that thought makes me sad.

I can certainly see it happening (Mr. Frakes with his cons costing 70$ back in the late 1980's). It's sad but reality. Some of them I see having on going careers, others...well, no.

Oh I can totally see it happening, in truth I think most of them are good enough that they deserve to be able to keep working and not spend the rest of their career on the Con circuit, but talent's not a guarantee of success in that business they call show, the one's I fear it happening the most for are J and Vincent, as they deserve to go onto bigger and better things, are young enough to still do it, and wont be as typecast as Masters and Boreanaz are, but that doesnt count for much in Hollywood.

VK had a long career before this so I'm thinking he'll work long after it. He tends to go for art house type stuff though which could work against him. He has a movie out right now but since it's an indie I'll never see it until it hits dvd. I really like J too. I'm not so sure about Amy. I didn't think much of her.

The thing that worries me about Vincent, is that he doesnt seem to have worked in the past year, now that may be by choice, or he may have worked but we just dont know as its been indie stuff that hasnt been in the trades, but I was talking to another Connor fan and she pointed out, well, he's at a weird age, probably doesnt want to keep playing teenagers, doesnt look old enough to be cast in a lot of adult roles. *shrugs* I guess time will tell, but It'd be a bloody shame if he'd reached the pinacle of his career in the his early 20's.

As for J, he's just been great this year, showed real chops, he deserves to go onto much better things.

Im not sure about Amy, I think she is a good actress when given the material, but again she's young enough to still be in with a good shot, if not at movie stardom, then as a regualr on a more mainstream show with a larger profile.

David and James I think are typecast now, and not getting any younger, and Alexis also has age working agaisnt him.

All true. We also forget a lot of them go onto stage. James started there. David has a movie coming out soon. Alyson is on stage, Tony is doing British TV. Most of them will probably do something.

But yeah I would imagine Vincent is very tired of doing teen stuff but he looks too young to do much else

ah the stage darling! :) There's actually talk of David going to London to take over Luke Perry's role in When Harry Met Sally.....

Going to go to bed now, I only came online at 8 to check my mail, and as so often happens started talking to people and ended up on all night.

I hadn't heard that thanks. David also likes to direct so as my roommate pointed out it wouldn't be surprising to see him go behind the camera.

Ah yeah, the time difference. It was about dinner time here for most of this conversation. I know so many friends want to do a live chat and it's like next to impossible since we live in so many different countries (which is cool in and of itself. I've made an effort to correspond with people in other countries since the 70's
