Some characters don't want to accept I've packing to do and kept bugging me until I wrote more.

Xander – Pre show Faulty Memory
Why did his memory play mean tricks? Xander could have sworn he had committed all the pertinent details for his history test to memory. He had rattled them back to Willow and Jesse like he had been around back then but now with only ten minutes to the end of the exam he was playing eenie meenie miney moe with the multiple guess answers.

He could remember every episode of original Trek and most of the Next Generation. He never forgot an X-Man so why is it he could never remember something that would allow him to pass a test?

Angel – Post Home  - Triggers
Angel was practiced at stalking and peering through windows but he never thought he’d be doing it for this reason. It was his last look and he needed to commit everything to memory. His first ‘last look’ had come before heading to Sunnydale and when he got back, Angel couldn't resist one more ‘last look.’

This time he’s make the break, he told himself as he went home and salvaged a slightly smoke damaged teddy bear and a receiving blanket that still had his son’s scent clinging to it. He’d take them to his new home, triggers for better memories.

Poor Xander. So true as well. If someone ever figures out how we can make ourselves recall the stuff we aren't interested in as well as what we are--well, billions is probably the word for that.

Wonderful drabbles. I've made myself swear off until I get my Soul Survivor episode done and I miss it.

No kidding. Stuff goes inmy brain but not everything makes the return trip at the right times.

good luck getting it done. I just finished two of my fic so I'm coasting for a day or two then I've more ficathons to finish. Sigh

Now the Xander fic is EXACTLY how I'm feeling! I mean, give me a quote from a fiction book I own and I'll be able to tell you the name of the book and locate the quote in under two minutes, I can tell you every bell Sabriel uses and every spell from Harry Potter and books worth of BtVS trivia but I'll be damned if I could remember even one of the 7 points associated with Behaviouralist Management Theory today in my exam! *growls* /rant

Nice drabbles btw, sorry for the essay of complaints I just wrote XD

Poor Xander. I've felt that way once or twice.

The Angel one is good too - but for this:

Angel could resist one more ‘last look.’

Is that supposed to be "couldn't"?

You know I'd be the one to catch that, too.

I suppose I shouldn't, but I feel really smug.

I shudder to think how many of my brain cells are tied up remembering old commercial jingles.

I think it's worse that Oscar Meyer has revived the "My Bologna" and the "Wish I Was..." jingles. I'd just gotten them outta my head and now....

*sigh*

A skit?

*boggles*

Please tell me it was on the food pyramid.

I think so. Maybe it was another skit show. When the hell did SNL start?

I thought it started when I was in high school because I remember the watching the original cast - and I know that was in the late 70's.

it started in 1975. I was 8 so maybe it was 3rd grade then.
