take a bunch of little irritations

And it adds up into a huge amunt of irritation. I'm set up for an interview in WV tomorrow via phone and then I managed to successfully download YIM and even got all my clothes packed up with a few exceptions so i'm happy girl. Then it seems downloading YIM screwed up my computer (no shock there) and now I have to go around the horn to get connected. The techies can't figure out what happened but something did (they suggested it was the usual suckiness of Dell).

Then I start making my phone calls. First off the student loans, the ones that sued me, called today about my disability papers, you know the ones the orthopedic surgeon couldn't find. Well turns out they sent the bill (the same one they sent to collection rather than to Workmen's comp and/or BC/BS) to my student loans??? WTF? They told me they never got the paperwork and yet they can staple a bill to it and send it to the loans. Irritation cranking up. Call the hand surgeon's former place in Madison, the numbers on the net are wrong so it takes awhile to get going on this (at 10 cents/min) crank it up another notch. Open the paperwork from the hand surgeon and find out they wanted it MAILED back (I've never seen that. Usually they want you to fill it out prior to visiting then hand carry it in) By now the eye is twitching from irritation.

Then I call the workmen's comp place to see why they didn't pay the bill in question and to see if they'll pay for next week's visit. They tell me that it's an open case but when I said you sent a letter to my lawyer questioning it they said 'we can't talk to you about this. You have to have your lawyer call.' "but my lawyer told ME to call YOU" (though at this point I'm beginning to wonder about this lawyer). So I call the lawyer who of course can't talk to me until friday.

I think I'll go play in traffic.
