I survived the week

I have no idea how. It wasn't bad for just me. One of our new hires had a terrible week too. Nothing much went right this week and now I have a sore throat again. Not to mention the batteries I just bought for my glucometer aren't working so now I have to go BACK to Jackson. SIgh. Oh well I can hit the farmers market.

And the sick bacon bits on the top of this suck salad is the Trump pile of shit between him pardoning a racist, banning transgenders from the military and the EPA canceling awards for climate change (and for the love of god don't look at any of the comments and shares on those news articles if you want to hold on to the idea there's a shred of humanity left).

Today and yesterday were beautiful weather-wise. But on the other hand, it makes me worry this will be a truly horrid winter, one that even I can't enjoy because it's like fall out there.

Speaking of weather, I hope all my Texas friends stay safe.

I'm trying to figure out if it's just me or what but I keep seeing ads for two FX shows Your're the Worst and Better Things and wondering who thinks these are funny? I know it's season two for both but ads with a mother tricking her children (meanly)(Better things) and YtW giving us a scene where she's trying to get a threesome in a bar and says 'i'm on anti depressants so I won't even cry afterward' what about that am I meant to laugh at?
