Dancing in the Depths

cornerofmadnessToday was the steampunk presentations at the library and then the 20,000 leagues under the sea Dancing in the Depths ball. I couldn't go to the library between work, cleaning house and frankly I knew I'd be exhausted but I was told it went very well.
Before I started cleaning, I managed to ram my toe into a wall getting breakfast. I knew I had broken the toe or at least badly strained it. I padded it up before jamming it into my pirate boots but man is it a mess. I could feel it swelling in my boot but I've missed everything else this fall with my group I was going to this.
I didn't dance well much. I bopped around a bit but mostly sat at the costume desk and I had fun. My friend L let me borrow her octopus hand puppet. It was an absolute hit. There are more pictures of it taken than of me!
Once the pictures go up I'll share them but here have one I took.
