The last of the Christmas Lights

For some reason last night Dad turned on the Christmas lights (he rarely does) and we were the only ones in town to have them on. I remember growing up, you had them on til Epiphany (being a highly Catholic area). I'm sad just a little to see them end with New Year's day. My own were on here when I got home. They're on a solar panel but at least they were working (the timer wasn't because it was on before I left but not now).

I came home to learn the pipes burst to the entire complex today (and the power went out last night too according to neighbors). I have to get some purell but I have this horrible tasting mouth wash I had gotten for free. It's a germicide so....Well that sucks, I drink tons (thank god I DO have bottled water, no toilet, yippee, no nothing. In theory it'll be fixed tomorrow but I'm doubtful. Also I could hear neighbors shrieking at one another from the moment I started unpacking the car (luckily in a different building than mine). I hate this place.

I tuckered out after unpacking half of the stuff. Well I have tomorrow off once I get back from the grocery store (hope there's more water....) Kanda is happy to be on the couch.
