The snow wasn't pretty in that it didn't cling to trees and look like a wonderland so I didn't venture out there. I did get a package from

silvrethorn, some wine filled chocolates and matcha green tea kit kats. YUM.

I planned on cleaning and writing. What I did do was be lazy and talk forever with

evil_little_dog which is definitely nicer than cleaning. I WILL get into some writing tonight.

Day 13: -In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.

I've already done some of these already. I have a list of professional goals under my pen name and you can see those here

Other goals include revamping my YA story Splinters of Silver and Cold Iron and potentially get it in front of an agent (or at least participate in pitch fests). I would like to work on at least one of my other novels as well.

I need to start a twitter for my YA pen name and get a newsletter going for the pen name I'm already using.

I need to divest my house of some of the insane amounts of clutter that is in it and divest this body of some of it's weight. I want to start at the gym and I need to get a handle on my health.

Professionally I need to finish some scientific papers, think about sabbatical and do what's needed for promotion (that is coming up in weeks!)

That's a lot I think.
