Imagine that? SHocker. Thank goodness I was already up at the ass crack of dawn to get to the doctor's. By the way, what was I thinking about when I put my yearly ob/gyn appointment on the same day as the mammogram? It was regret being female day.



Here's the hole. Also notice the hot and cold water lines are color coded so how the fuck they got it backwards in my kitchen? Yeah.

Also I'm glad that I didn't listen to the news and cancel the above mentioned appointment. I was meant to be up to my eyeballs in ice and snow. I got none. Not complaining, just saying.

We had one person put in for the Welsh thing. I didn't try. I just couldn't get it together. I don't know why (hello depression,yes I know it was you). I think I'll try next year and make it part of my sabbatical because I AM going to put in for one.

I asked to see my echocardiogram since I had it at this hospital chain. I assumed that since no one called me it was fine. And it is BUT a) it was listed only as a fair study quality wise and there is some tricuspid regurgitation and borderline reduced function on the right. BOTH of those are right sided which is weird as that's the side that pumps to the lung and is much less likely to fail. I don't know if it's anything to worry about (I assume not since I wasn't called back in) but I WILL ask about it next time.

Also my OB/gyn mentioned she had a house to rent but when she asked my rent and I told her she didn't continue to tell me about the house (i.e. I'm betting she's asking 1000/month).

SOmeone I know via Jana's world interviewed Mercedes Lackey (I loved her books growing up) especially Vanyl. I remember how upset SO MANY people were that the main character was gay and this was in the days before the internet (or should I say at it's very beginnings). You can read it here
