It's been my usual Valentine's Day

cornerofmadnessIn other words pretty shitty. Certainly the horror in Florida weighed in on that but honestly I didn't even know that until after dinner. I have no words.
Today the dean tells me (in response to my question) that my promotion portfolio is due TOMORROW. Well I knew it was soon and was mostly ready but I've been working for SEVEN hours now to finish it up. I hadn't gotten to the papers in my desk. It took THREE bags to get them here so I could work all night. THanks for nothing dudes. Oh well tomorrow it'll be out of my hands and I can relax. Now tomorrow I have to go in early and scan this all in just in case this gets lost. Say a little prayer for me.
Late last night I realized that in order to make the crown work, the dentist filed the fuck out of my old bottom one. I can see where it was patched. I called and said is this now functionally in danger of fracture. They said it wasn't. It's on my machine. I need to get a recorder over them and KEEP that. Because if this fucker breaks I want it recrowned for free. (Actually I would love to have this one off, I'm allergic to part of it).
My brother is home. He doesn't have the flu but they think he has some virus making him ill. He's better now that they rehydrated him. With his autoimmune issues, he gets sick often. Thanks for the concern. I appreciate it.
