I am in a terrible mood

cornerofmadnessAnd too many people have chosen today to piss me off. It's my long day and to be honest I'm not well. I have an infected wound on my leg that I've been trying NOT to go to the doctor with (this is what happens when you're a diabetic wound care specialist) so it's very painful (without gross details, let's just say I fixed the infection today so hopefully that's that). So I'm tired, I'm sick and I have WAY too much on my plate.
Once again a third of my class didn't bother to show up to lab. Yeah I KNOW 8 am is early but suck it up, you're going to be in health care. It was beautiful today so you can't blame the weather. There's going to be a ton of students baffled as to their failing grades in a few weeks at mid-terms.
Then my research student got pissy with me. For WEEKS I've been telling her that we're short on some chemicals so go be sure you don't need this. Guess what, she does, we're out and she's like well you have to order it ASAP. Okay I will (and have) but there are levels of buerocratic b.s. to this that will take weeks. Now she's mad at me. My response was this is YOUR senior research. You're 21 years old. I'm not a hand holder here. You were warned. You didn't listen so my sympathy doesn't exist. Now she's not talking to me (guess I'm glad I got the letter of recommendation from her already).
And then I pissed ME off. Somehow I forgot to get unit three ready for parasitology. Now instead of working on edits, I have to do that. Way to fail.
My edits might be good but they're long. It's going to be hard to do it in the time alloted.
And if I thought the car dealer was bad to me, they were worse to my mom and dad. The guy mom and I had worked with last time I was home was nice but his boss was so high pressured he insulted my dad, telling him he didn't know how to read the Kelley blue book (believe me dad does), that his car was all dinged up (it's not) and that if he didn't know what he wanted by now, he was wasting the man's time. Way to lose a 30K sale dude.
