National Cat Lady Day (otherwise known as Irony)

Irony #1- Going to the on campus health fair and being given free hot dogs for lunch by the fair promoters. They did have a vein check which I did and you can see the blood regurgitating everywhere My veins are worthless. Also I seem to be shrinking. Bite me aging process.

Irony #2 - Writing an exam on tapeworms (including the broad fish tapeworm) while eating sushi for dinner.

However my student researchers won the science award at our award presentation. The one I thought deserved it more didn't get it and you can see how disappointed she was. She didn't want to talk to me. Sigh.

I'm ready to murder Word. I dont' know what the problem is but I suspect it's because most of my stories in the last several years were written half in Word and half in free programs like Open or Libre office. Half the time I'm not even getting the accept/reject changes option. I have to highlight several times etc etc. It's taking me three times as long to get through edits because of these issues and it's on every computer I try it on.

And it's National Cat Lady Day!! Kanda will sit on my lap all day if I let him, especially if I'm on the phone. BUT when I want him to sit there for a selfie, my lap turns into snakes swimming in acid.
