So I guess I get to stay in and write.
I have nothing pithy to say this week. I'm almost done with my Christmas story so I'm going to go attend to that but I will say this. Some people are idiots. Some authors looked at the whole #Cockygate thing and somehow DID NOT see the shitstorm and the awesome fury of the writing community and the readers who really ought to be insulted by the idea they're too stupid to tell one author's book from another. No, now we have a few others who decided Fayleena had a good idea and are trying to trademark the words, forever, shifter and biker. Head desk. If I could write faster I'd publish a story about The Cocky shifter and the biker at the edge of Forever and use one of her favorite stock photo authors on the cover (as some of my friends have already done)
But don't listen to me on this, here have best selling romance author Suzan Tisdale talk about it (I don't read a lot of het romance but I might go get hers from the library just because of how excellent this response is)
