I wonder why I have so much crap in this house. I find weird things all around the place when I'm cleaning. Stuff that has no reason to be here. i did find my grandmother's recipes which have been lost for years but in the weirdest of places. It was in one of the bags I filled earlier this year when I had to clear everything out of the back room.

I also just learned that the Cincinnatti Museum of Art is hosting the Terra Cotta warriors from China (well ten of them and about 100 other items). I HAVE to go see that.

I've sent my Christmas story, Purrfect Holiday off to the publisher and now we wait.

I always used to go see those type of exhibits featuring East Asian artifacts- I bet it will be really interesting if you go!

The garden pictures are nice too. I think that's a daylily possibly?? The name just sprang to mind, but it does seem right...

Definitely. That's why I grow heirloom tomatoes as well.

I had a really overwhelmingly great plant and crop a few years ago that I can't help but want to repeat.

But some of it's weather/conditions/etc that there's only so much I can do about...

I hear you. Unfortunately now that I don't work summers I can't really do much in the way of veggies as I'm always away from home

Eh, I think you should just enjoy that you're getting away from your place for a while instead (says the person who'd always pick to take the trips XD;).
