It was a drama free flight. My room is nice with one big exception. How did this ever become a thing, sheer curtains in a hotel with immoveable dark curtains on the sides. The safety lights make it like high noon in here.

Today at the airport Mom & Dad drop me off with 'Go, Bilbo. Hurry on your next adventure.' They're as geeky as me.

And holy crap Montreal's airport was insane. I've never seen this many people in an airport. Ever. I've been to this airport before but it wasn't like this. I'd still be in the Tim Horton's line at this point. I like that they're loyal to Tim. Almost no one was at Starbucks so a scone for dinner it was. (I did pick up a turkey spinach wrap once I hit Halifax)

The only problem was my strap broke on my laptop case.

At the Pittsburgh airport the Penn Brewery had specials, poutine (one of the things I can't wait to eat again now that I'm back in Canada) and wild boar sausage (what I got dad for father's day). I like weird synchronicities like that.

Why would they do that with the curtains?!!

Hee, your parents!

Glad you made it safely.

I see you found the curtains--that's great! I relate, for sure--sometimes they are SO hard to find, and often they're heavy enough that they don't slide properly on the track, so you have to do some serious tugging to get them in place. I usually keep a couple of binder clips in my suitcase or cosmetics bag so that I can actually clip them closed because they ALWAYS have a really inconvenient gap.

I'm so glad you arrived safely in Halifax. We were only there for two nights, but we enjoyed it immensely. Our hotel was within jogging distance (I was still a runner at the time) of the Citadel AND a huge comic book store my husband found. I remember we ordered Indian food, mild, and it SCORCHED our mouths. Obviously, we thought, Halifaxians (Halifaxers? Halifaxites? Halifices?) are of tougher stuff than we south of the border types.
