that's what part of Kanda's tail looks like because he keeps sleeping under my task chair and in a spot I can't see him without pushing back from the desk (and hence running him over). I feel bad.


I also literally feel bad, I've been dizzy and nauseous for days. I'm beginning to think I have a damn ear infection. It doesn't hurt but it didn't last time either. Also my voice is raspy like I've been doing whiskey and cigarettes for years. I don't have a sore throat but it's making the job hard when my voice is raspy and cracking.


I got great prompts for spook_me. I can't wait to use them. I already have the Buffyverse story for the Wendigo. Things are going to go badly for some.

But I need an object (magical) that the Watchers would want back at any cost. Suggestion? Thanks.

A grimoire? Watchers are big on very important books and on keeping things all to themselves, so maybe that would work?

Otherwise, I always think a magical amulet/ring/mojo bag is a TERRIBLE idea for the precise reason that someone is always going to try to steal it, so...

That is very true. A grimoire would most certainly work.

And you're right, those things can be a bad idea. And in this universe, it centers on two thieves so... (Gwen and Connor which I wrote more than a decade ago and ironically I'm now reading the Angel comics a decade after the fact and was laughing to see they were an actual couple in them).

OMG, I missed that Gwen and Connor were a couple in the comics. That's really cool.

Right now it's more of a throw away line (because later he's down with being with Illyria) about how he can't touch his girlfriend (which I'm not sure he realizes once kissed his daddy because that's just Connor's luck).

How about the shadowcaster thingy from season 7? OTOH they don't seem to have cared that Robin Wood kept it.

Or... maybe there's a magical item that lets them track potential slayers?
