Last year I did ficathon after ficathon. I did fic for birthdays and holidays etc etc. I loved it. Don't get me wrong. However it left me with some wip's. Fates and fickle muses left me with others. There were promises of cutting back on ficathons (and I'm doing so so in that department) and more birthday/holiday fic. And this year, especially with the new job and the promises of doing original fic to myself, I know that those birthday fic just won't get done.

So here's the proposition. I've been wanting to get my wip's done. Some have been languishing nearly two years now. I have at least 12. One, Hyperion's Son of course will get done eventually. Working hard on it. The others less so. I know I promised to finish one to both leni_ba and to

evil_little_dog . So here's my thought, if you want to claim one of these stories for your birthday/holiday please do. It'll get dedicated to you. Then feel free to poke and prod me until I get it done (here's hoping not all get claimed at once...). The stories on offer (barring ones I'm doing for other series) are:

Blood Sings - This is the second in the What Little Boys Are Made Of series. It follows Sins of the Father, an AR of S4 where Connor went insane killing Cordelia, Fred & Gunn and in this story he's recovering in England with Giles (seeing some of the same people WIllow did) but someone unexpected enters his life to twist him up again.

Connections - This is an AR of S5 where Buffy returns to L.A. while Spike's still a ghost to talk to him and Angel while Faith is busy trying to make amends with Wesley.

Dream within a Dream - This is also an AR of S 5 where Connor never regains his memories. Buffy and Faith return to L.A. for the holidays only to find out Dawn's new college boyfriend is not just a pre-law student but Connor (this also has Lindsey and I'll be damned if I can remember why I brought him into the story but he's just lying there not helping)

Shadow of a Dream - This is an AR of S3 of Buffy. Anya wishes to regain her vengenance demon powers and wishes Giles away since he was the one to destroy her power base. He and Ethan are the not so good guys of this story (this is a long puppy by nature so...)

Like Stone - Set 20 years in the future (where much of S 5 of Angel never happened since heck it wasn't even around when I started this puppy), Connor is a homicide detective in L.A. and things with him and Angel were never repaired. A cold case however brings him back into his father's life and into the life of Dawn who brought the cold case to his attention

Buile mo Chroi (Scrape of my Heart) - Set several years after Home/Chosen (again started before S5 aired), in this one there's a Connor/Faith pairing and Ethan has resurrected Cordelia, Joyce, Tara and Anya

Strong as Death - Set in Quor-Toth this is a Steven & Holtz story where Steven has been captured by a demoness. ELD and Leni have been poking me to get this one done.

Barbed Wire and Roses - Set in S2 of Angel, this story is Lindsey centric with an OC (who appears in Blood Sings for that matter as well). Saeth comes to L.A. to find who killed her friend, knows Wolfram and Hart are to blame and still manages to get involved with Lindsey

Oedipus Wrecked - An AR of both S4 Ats & S7 BtVS, this is the sequel to Jocasta Revisited. It's Connor/Cordelia. A pregnant Cordelia has fled to Sunnydale. Connor and Wesley have come there to deal with skinned victims of some kind of demon. Angel, Fred & Gunn are there for the same reason (Wesley never came back to the fold)

Barefoot on Thorns - An AR of S7 where Spike returns to Sunnydale post soul but whose soul does he have?

The Gates of Horn and Ivory - Set several years in the future, Connor and Dawn have been cut off from their friends and family and their feelings of aloneness and darkness get amplified when Dawn gets the news Buffy is dead.
