Having finished one long project (the Loki/Thor thing) and then two Spicy Advent entries in quick succession, I was NOT feeling the writing tonight, I but knew I had to, so I mined the other Spicy Advent prompts for something to pique my interest, and I ended up writing 421 words of a little throwback PWP from a pairing I haven't written in what feels like a bazillion years. It was actually a lot of fun. So that's a palate cleanser, I guess? Lol!

I hear you on that. You've surely noticed me getting into one of MY old fandoms and yeah it is kinda fun

It's been an odd, topsy-turvy day and I didn't write nearly as much as I'd hoped, but I have at least kept on track for my word goal for the month, if just barely. (Goal of 20,000 = write 667 words a day; today I wrote 700.)

Also, part of the reason I haven't written much is that some of my attention has been on sending completed fics to betas, rather than starting new fics. (This month I've already completed 4 different fics in 4 different fandoms – thank you, Yuletide \o/ !)

If I don't finally get started on my official Yuletide gift tomorrow, though, somebody yell at me! ;-)

Hahaha, you're awesome, thank you for poking me about it! And would you believe – I haven't started it yet.

I got GREAT feedback back from betas on a couple of different fics (I actually love working with a good beta, who's willing to really delve into questions with me), so I spent much of my time responding to that and making edits. 2 of 4 fics are now ready to post!

But I still have a little more time today, so I'm going to make sure I start on the gift fic, at the very least the canon review and a little brainstorming.

I went to the opera in the evening and had a hard time writing anything besides the about 80 words of original stuff I wrote in my notebook during the intermission. But in the end I churned out some 250 words of what will hopefully be my entry in the spicy advent calendar thing.
