I somehow managed to write 1400 words after 11pm last night and made it to the halfway point of my novel. Wanted to write all day today. So far I've done diddly. Sigh but it's not over yet.

'I'm not gonna remember any of it' is a thought that passes through my head multiple times a day lately, so yep, agree. Mostly I've been lucky enough to take notes just in time. Those sudden moments of inspiration are so exciting. When you suddenly realize your subconscious has already solved the problem for you? Best.

I wrote 2400 words on the Big Bang fic on Day 17. I am so flipping nervous about this deadline and maybe my writing quality is suffering for it. So far today I can't get started. But as you say, it's not over yet!

I know from long experience I WON'T remember. My brain also loves to tell me this stuff right before I fall asleep or am in the car to insure I can't write it down. But yes the subconscious can be good at problem solving.

That's really great progress though. Hope that Big Bang works out.

Couldn't agree more about the meme! This is why I'm always carrying a folded bluetooth keyboard with me - it's amazing what you can write down with jotterpad and a keyboard on your phone! *g* (Longhand is just not my thing - did it for the longest time, but in two times out of three I can't decipher my own handwriting later when I'm frantically jotting down fic ideas.)

I'm quite satisfied how it goes for me; I still manage to reach my own goal of 2k every day (except for that one day), and keep it daily, although I'm also working frantically towards that homepage deadline as well and still have heaps of fruit to take care of. What I don't manage is keeping up with my social life, or with checking in on WED. *sigh* Wrote 2,4k on the 15th and 2k on the 16th. No need to edit me in into the older posts, though!

Ha, I can't read my handwriting either though with my hand injury typing is much more painful so I write. I love your solution to the memory problem though.
