It's funny how fast emotions can turn

Before I get into that, welcome to the new people who friended me. I'm not sure if I knew you under another name or if you're entirely new to me but welcome. Mostly I post about writing, occasionally about fanfic and a lot about this series of mishaps I call life.

As for those emotions, I think a lot of it is being overworked. I finally knocked off at 1030 tonight. I'm not done but my brain is. The rest was me going down the rabbit hole after spikedluv sent me some links to address my Cult and Ul-Thar question yesterday.

I was reading the one on Connor and there was a bunch of comic book crap I hadn't seen and I had just finished reading (after all these years) the Angel comics. Wow, reading that I can see why the people reading the Buffy comics were upset (especially the Spuffy fans) which amused me at first and then I got sad.

As meh as the Angel comics were, I was happy with how it ended. For me, the idea that Angel, Connor, Kate and Gunn were still in L.A. fighting the good fight while SPike and Illyria (a couple that actual interested me) out there roaming the wide world made for a very satisfying ending.

While I'd have been interested in seeing the Scoobies meet Connor, just from the wiki I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have liked this (and omg how much do I hate the idea of Dawn/Xander?)

And isn't it wild just how much fandom can make you feel?

I found that relationship intriguing. I wish there had been time to do more. Ah well

And welcome. It's funny because I saw your Nightvale thing pop up in SU herald and bookmarked it in my brain to go look at once I'm done grading all the things
