Came home anyhow
Dec. 17th, 2018 10:12 pmKanda looked improved by 2 AM when I was going to be and since I woke up every 2 hours and he was bouncing around every time I figured he was healthy enough to come back. Luckily I had a different bag of food that I know he can eat without issue.
Other than taking for freaking ever to pack it was a fine drive. I'm learning more and more I just can't do audio books. I picked up a few at the library sale and since 2 of the stations I listen to on the 250 mile drive are 24/7 Christmas carols I brought it with me. Boring. Well it's distracting which isn't good on a drive. This book was dull as dirt (literally only made it one disc before I gave up) and I'm learning my OWN brain would rather write shit as I drive than pay attention. It can do it with music but not an audiobook. The drive is better without the audiobook

Name three stories you found difficult to write. Just like the easy to write, there are MANY ones that are hard to write. I'm going to pick all from the Buffy verse because I'm tired and lazy.
Hyperion's Son It took 15 years, yinz. Now half of that was new fandoms creeping in and original fiction but it was a difficult story to write because the cast was huge and I wanted it to be very real with Connor's addiction and someone (sadly as a guest so I can't response) gave me an absolutely heartwarming review on FFN for it. I need to p ost up some of the new stories for that verse on it.
Buile mo chroi This one started well and is still unfinished (also 15 years later). I wrote myself into a hole with this one. There's a HUGE magical spell but then it was like a) why does this (though I just had a thought, to distract them from another end of days or something) b) what will the fall out be. Who knows maybe I'll do something with this one day.
Dream within a Dream Another WIP (I stopped posting them in newer fandoms, having learned my lesson) This one had potential. Connor (mind wiped and happy) has fallen in with Amy and Ethan and is learning magic. This one peters off too just as Angel and Buffy et al learn about the magic (not about Amy and Ethan) and they are less than happy (especially since Dawn's going out with him)
