Hey I did have something to say for a change but I said it over here ANd hopefully I was a bit successful in downplaying how soul crushing it is to have Blood Red Roulette selling so poorly but a story I wrote in two weeks has sold like 5 dozen copies in just a couple weeks. This writing gig can really beat you up.

In case you don't have time for my thoughts on contemporary vs genre romance here's the links duplicated here.

I dunno. You have a job. You don't need the income from writing. So why write stories that you don't enjoy? Write something that makes you happy.

Says the person who can't get friends to read her WIP let alone strangers, so I mean, I get the whole feeling of failure. Literally two people have read my story to the end of what's written. But at least I'm pleased with it myself, which is something.
