Because they won't fix the fucking heat in the buildings. It's SO hot the students can't concentrate because they're too busy trying to fan themselves. We're threatening to teach in bikinis because god knows no one wants to see that but maybe we should point out AGAIN that we're supposedly broke so save some fucking money on the electricity by not having it ninety goddamn degrees in the classrooms. (their excuse it well the person who knew how to run the computer program to control the thing didn't teach anyone and then he left so no one knows how to do it. OMFG call the company and ASK!)

Thankfully I was smart enough this time to save my edits before I wandered off because while I made dinner the computer updated and shut down word. sigh. Also it doesn't look good for saving the flash drive data. Pouts.

I try to be kind most of the time but I don't always succeed. I have a temper after all (points up)

Today I talked to a student for an hour because life has thrown her yet another curveball (in a life of nothing but curves for her and her family) because her potential career as a nurse (and she's one of my better ones) is probably over before it begins and she knows I've been through this and needed someone to unload it all on who could understand.

Fandom wise I'm trying to fill needy stockings at fandom_stocking (and you can too!) and in fact one of the needy ones is one I had already started because it has one of my favorite non-canon pairings in the Buffyverse but it wants to be LONG.

I'm so sorry to hear about your student. I hope at least talking about it offered some relief, if nothing else.

Don't tempt me. I had to spend half of last semester in a different lab because there was no a/c and now there's too much heat. OMG.

Yeah and part of my suggestion is malpractice suit and you know being a doctor and I DO NOT say that lightly but it fits.

OH cool. I won't have mine started for that one Angel/Buffy request but if I stop puttering around I can get ONE of them done for a Faith request.
