So it's raining. Hard. All day. Could be worse right? Technically it is worse because it's supposed to go down to like minus 8 tonight (that's -22 for my non American friends) and turn to snow. I can handle the snow. It's all the ice on the lines that is likely to happen that's the problem because I lose power often and when you live in the middle of nowhere you're not a priority for repair.

So I've cooked a lot of things in preparation for having no power. Cooked off a pound of bacon and hard boiled a dozen eggs, there's a pizza and a whole roasted chicken, there's a vat of soup, not to mention chicken wings, ham BBQs, a pound of chicken deli meat, two loaves of bread, peanut butter and jelly and bagged snacks.

I feel so much like my grandmother right now.

I didn't post yesterday because my blood sugar was SO high I couldn't think. It wasn't great today but better than yesterday.

I still have 2 stories to finish for

fandom_stocking but the reveals have happened (except we're waiting on AO3 to be opened). I have some cool stuff that I'll link to another time. I want to finish the novella edits while power is still a thing.
