The blood moon

I had no real hopes of seeing as badly overcast as it's been for days but after working myself up into an anxiety attack talking writing (Did I mention I was hosting part of a release celebration?) I needed to clear my head.

So there I am after midnight. It's below zero out there. I have no shoes on, standing on the ice staring up at the sky.

Selena was there, wrapped in black clouds, red as blood. I was so happy to see her and then I heard a soft voice 'You can almost see it?'

I glance over and there's a neighbor walking his dog.

'Yes I can and she is lovely.'

I'm still having troubles breathing (anxiety triggers the asthma) but I saw my blood moon eclipse and I am happy.
