I remember doing something like this but it's been years. I'm so enjoying this resurgence of fandom on DW. I got this from sylvanwitch & auroracloud

1) Make a list of fifteen characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment.

2) Ask your f-list to post questions in the comments. For example: "One, nine, and fifteen are chosen by a prophecy to save the world from four. Do they succeed?", "Under what circumstances might five and fourteen fall in love?", "Which character on the list would you most want on your side in a zombie invasion?"

3) After your f-list has stopped asking questions, round them up and answer them using the fifteen characters you selected beforehand, then post them.

I had a huge smile put on my face today when someone commented on Opened Hearts my Christmas story for the Spicy Advent thing and told me how they wished there was more in the Hyperion's Son series. Given that it's a Buffy/Angel crossover where Connor is a major player (I know how most of fandom feels about him) this really made my day and made me feel good about my writing.


Speaking of which here is another sound track, another fandom on that I did back in 2008 (okay I put it together on Youtube today but originally crafted in 2008). It was for a fan project where you come up with a sound track for your pairing or group of characters. I think you were meant to write fiction for it too. I KNOW I had cover art for it (can't find it). I'm sure there are others (given that only one I can find is #3). This is on FFN because it was early Fullmetal Alchemist fanfic for me. Once I get all the Buffy stuff transfered to AO3, this is next.

My soundtrack is for the Roy Mustang/Riza Hawkeye relationship. And yes, there really is a mix of 80s, alt rock, country, blues, opera and more on here because I really love music and all types of it. there is even a cd liner note (remember those? god I miss those) for it which is great because I AM mystified about some choices 11 years later.

1. Leather & Lace – This is probably more feminine than I normally imagine Riza. I think the appeal of it for me is the line ‘Lovers forever.’ To me, that seems so fitting.



2. Iris – It just seems like a perfect song to sum up some of the feelings and frustrations Roy has to feel, especially the opening stanza.





3. Your Everything – ‘I wanna witness all of your dreams’ who wouldn’t want to hear that from their lover? I think this is what Roy would like to be for Riza.



4. True Colors - Roy needs someone to see all the hidden aspects of him and this song depicts that well. I can see Riza feeling this way.





5. I’ll Be Thunder – A song about forbidden lovers stealing time together, what could be more perfect for Roy and Riza?



6. Someone like you – ‘There’s a hand to hold through the sad and cold,’ just a little something both Roy and Riza need.





7. I’ll Stand By You - ‘I’ll stand by you, won't let nobody hurt you,’ certain one of the things Riza sees as her mission in life. If you asked, Roy, he’d probably feel the same.



8. I’ll Die Tryin’ – I think ultimately Roy wants nothing more than to help people and care for those he loves. This song about trying to make heaven on Earth for his lovers captures that feeling.





9. Burn me Down - Love is all well and good but passion is a great thing, too. Burning hot sex is what the colonel ordered.



10. Whisper of Angels - Another delicate song of love seems to perfectly sum up Riza





11. Can’t Keep Me From You – From a band special to me, the title pretty much says it all.



12. She’s My Kind of Rain – Another nice view of Riza through Roy’s eyes.





13. Let’s Make Love – Two people letting their passion sweep them away, ‘Let's make love All night long, Until our strength is gone,’ I think they wouldn’t have it any other way.



14. I’ll Be – The biggest fan of your life goes both ways for these two.





15. Lovesong – Included as much for the reason I love The Cure as it seems to be a very good song for the pair.



16. Come to My Window – ‘I would stand inside my hell And hold the hand of death’ Ishbal anyone? They’ve already been there and done that.
