Today was worse than Monday

cornerofmadnessWork got worse. The school of science chair got angry and let it out (which she rarely does) but FOR me (not on me). I am so over working. I mean today should have been an easy day with nothing to do but give an exam but it was stressful. So much so my blood sugar went nuts and was like 250 (which it hasn't been in a long time)
I also had my yearly ob/gyn visit and she's like why didn't you have a mammogram first? I ASKED! Your team wouldn't make the appt until after I saw you. She covered her face and said 'not again.' She knows who I am and what I once was so we talk and she knows I'm honest about it. I could not convince her staff that the mammogram should have been first so we could have TALKED about it at my appt. Sort of ob/gyn basics there.
I did get the stuff done for my Welsh proposal. I'll send it out tomorrow. I'm not sure I can get a half hour of of this but i should be able to).
I also finished my chocolate box thing (thanks toenemytosleep's help) I'll edit one more time and post it tomorrow, barely ahead of the deadline. Then I have to finish that damn stocking story (and enemy's at some point)
I also had my first publishing fail of the year. The steampunk anthology I sent my Rhode Island steampunk too decided not to publish the anthology because the other anthologies didn't sell well (to be fair, they rarely do).
This is the problem with writing short stories for an anthology because if they don't fly with that one it's hard as hell to place them. SOOOOO if you come across a steampunk or solarpunk anthology (not the solarpunk winter, my solarpunk story doesn't fit there) let me know. thanks.

When I told him, he shook his head and said no, they were just trying to force my hand to get in to see him. WTF? What if something happened between visits?!! I was boggling.
