Of exhaustion and really dark beer

I've been so very tired but I dragged ass to the laundromat and then to Arch and Eddies which had the most delightful quartet of dark beers I've had in ages. Belles Porter was good but not great. Arch and Eddie's own Tossin' the caber Scotch ale was amazing. I want more. There was a raspberry chocolate stout and an Imperial Russian milk stout (but I forget who made these but at 11% abv that's to be expected).

And the new secretary gave me a pint of strawberries for helping her so that was nice.

AND my student's research is so very promising but I realized today she didn't do any replicants. Side eyes her. You can't do just one. Guess who'll be redoing that. (still, looks like we could get a paper out of it though if the replicants come out the same).

You've got a mission to infiltrate an enemy camp and decide to divide your characters into groups. (3 groups of 5, or 5 groups of 3) who would work together reasonably well? Or not, as the case may be! - I'm going to circle back to this on



4, 8 and 11 get blind drunk together (or under the influence of something else) what happens next? Hermione, Scully and Willow are blind drunk? I'm thinking this is some sort of spell aimed at Willow and/or Hermione and it no doubt ends with Scully trying to keep Hermione safe and they all three try to figure out who's behind it.


14 is injured, 2 and 12 find him/her. What happens? Han is injured. Leia and Winry find him. Winry patches him up with Leia's help and Leia takes him home like always.



9 gets roped in to look after, entertain, or dress up as Santa for some children. Does it go well? - This one needs a ficlet so I'll circle back for it.


1, 7, 10, 15, get dropped in the jungle with no food, supplies, or compass. Who is likely to get to safety first, and would they all make it out? Buffy, Connor, SPike and Drusilla are dropped in the jungle (and Kudos Scribes for managing to pick 4 Buffyverse characters). I'd have to give the nod to Connor. Spike and Dru are hobbled in the daylight and they are complete city folk. Buffy is tough but she's also a city girl. Connor, on the other hand, knows how to survive in the wilds with jack shit to help him. He'd get out first. He'd help Buffy without a doubt. She could probably convince him to help Spike who would probably insist on dragging Dru with them.


Ding dong dell, 13's down a well! 5 put him in... Ed's down the well and Roy threw him there. That's Roy's best dream ever. He leaves him there, laughing his ass off.
