cornerofmadnessMy back is dead. My hip wishes it were and 30 degree temp changes are misery.
Work found a new way to be stupid. This whole cut program thing is even stupider than I thought. They don't mean 'biology program'. They mean biology associate degree is one program, biology biomedical tract, is a program. the SINGLE class we teach for nursing is a program. It's a fucking CLASS, not a program so no wonder the state thinks we have more programs than professors. On top of all this they want us to redo the gen eds. Also if I do get cut I won't know til June BUT they have to keep me on for one year so I can job hunt (Yes academia is weird).

I was trying to think of something fun. I was looking forward to the writers group but I'm not sure anyone but one other person will be there so it seems like a far way to go for a lack of group

What I Just Finished Reading: zero unless you count old fanfic
What I am currently reading: The Hexbreaker which I'm enjoying but it's an ebook so it'll take forever, Parable of the Sower which is a reread and might just go on to DNF this time. I just can't handle dystopias any more My depression needs no help. The Murder Pit which is one I won and have to review, it's sort of the anti-Sherlock Holmes but it's wallowing too much in being gross.
What I plan to read next: I have two more I won so one of those
