Doing it right

Just a quick synopsis of the day. Both panels went well (though this days has felt like it's been three days long). Two of the other authors offered to sell MY books on their table, paying it forward. I'm so glad I brought some.

It was however super rainy and I had to walk in it but that's okay.

I attended some fun lectures, whitechapel, ghosts of Ohio and tonight my airship buddies came with me to a history of vibrators and electric play lecture run by a kinky couple. Fun times

I got a bowtrunkle cocktail at the bar, cucomber & mint gin, honey and tonic. loved it.

Yay for things going well.
Ooohhhh, that drink sounds so strange, yet appealing somehow. Maybe it's the addition of cucumber that makes me head go 'wha?" *lol*

I had never heard of cucumber gin but it's a thing. And the cucumber taste was strong (shockingly more than the mint) I liked it

I've only had gin once or twice, I had no idea there were flavored ones too. XD Cucumber seems like it would be a nice fresh spring flavor

There are far fewer flavored gins than say vodka or rum.

I'm so glad to hear that the panels went well. I know you were nervous about them, and I hope your positive experience helps you to feel less anxious for the next ones to which I'm sure you'll be invited!

Thanks so much. I was a little nervous until I got there and it's like...I've got this. I talk to audiences for a living so what am I worried about?
