The Good News

cornerofmadnessKanda is well but hiding from me because I have to give him antibiotics and they're HUGE freaking capsules because that makes sense. He was my shadow all day until I had to force that horse pill into him and cats are ever so good at taking pills....
I did nothing but edit and mope all day but that does allow me to finally clean up Hyperion's Son but for some reason the all the headers aren't right. They're coded right. They look right in preview but when you post they aren't. After a half hour of dicking around I realize who is going to care? No one.
So let me present this now. I won't be posting this in my blog as it's huge so you can follow the link to AO3 (or ffn if you want it, just ask). And yes, I posted this before. However it now has a lovely front and back cover thanks toall_choseny! So if you want to see her fun covers and read a future fic with pretty much most of the Buffy and Angel casts (it is an alternative reality partially written prior to the comics canon) you can head right here
And now for the weird...NOW the administration is saying they DIDN'T cut the biology degree but merely combined all three tracks into one so they could eliminate the chemistry needed. Um GRAD SCHOOL needs that chemistry so I'd have to say you can get your degree BUT you're going to have to do a summer class somewhere to pick up that class. So now they're arguing back and forth whether or not biology exists and of course now my union has drafted it's pissed off letter that had good points. You said 7-9 people would be cut but instead you cut a third of the faculty and ALL of liberal arts which in fact could destroy our accreditation. OMFG.

So while I have NOT been laid off I can't see me staying but I don't know what I'm going to do. Unlike a third of the faculty, however, I don't have to flail around in a panic looking, at least not yet.
But things are bad here, very bad.
